A long time ago I decided to write a baby blog while I was pregnant. I only made one entry which was when I was 4 weeks pregnant. But here I am one year later and ready to share pictures of our boy! I think I can handle it this time! So much to write about! But here is how it started....
Here it begins. A baby blog to capture all the moments of being pregnant to share with my friends and family. I love the idea...and since I recently moved away from most of you...I thought I would give it a try. Pressure is kind of on! I thought this would be easy...but i am having a little stage fright here. Well, here it goes!
Where the story begins...
You know when you just know when something is going to happen...well, I knew this. (Alden, I can't wait to tell you this...remember when I said that I somehow knew I would be pregnant the month of March...well, I was right.) I guess I am a little psychic. HAH. So, April arrives and I didnt even need to take the test...I already knew. I bought two tests and went home during lunch. (MOM, this is the first time I have ever done this! I swear!) I somehow messed up twice and neither one registered a response. So, that night I try again...and it works. I think maybe someone up above wanted Andrew to be there to witness the event. We were in total shock. The moment was way surreal. I don't even know how to describe it. Andrew teared of course...I paced back and forth a little...and then we made dinner and I watched (for the first time) Andrew enjoy a glass of wine without me.
