Oh, Christmas Tree

Three years ago we stumbled across the greatest little Christmas tree farm in Highlands, NC. It is small and family owned and very close to my parents home. The people who own it are incredibly friendly and so thankful for your business. I wish I could buy trees from them all year long. They seriously make the tree buying experience that much better. And I love the tree buying experience already. May be one of my favorite parts of Christmas!!

This year Keller was big enough to run all over the place and his version of hide and seek (which means just running away from us and laughing.) We went with our good friends the Williams and had so much fun sharing the experience with good friends!

Our Little Chef

Keller took after his namesake (Thomas Keller) this year in a homemade costume by GiGi (my mom) He was the cutest little chef I have ever seen and acted just the part. Carried around his pots and pans and wooden spoon. And I made it one more year without him knowing what Candy is! YES!! I am quite sure next year will be different. Instead Keller helped hand out beers at The Dupree's house (to adults of course) while we handed out candy to the kids. I seriously love Halloween in our neighborhood! So relaxed and fun!

Halloween (Part Two and Three)

If you are Keller, you get to celebrate Halloween a couple times. Mom's work, dad's work, school party the week before, school on the actual day.... So we broke out last year's costume for a couple days! He still makes one cute Pumpkin!!

Happy Cow

One of our favorite local farms (Yes, clearly the city girl in me is fading)is Happy Cow. Not only because they have the best Chocolate Milk I have ever had in my whole life. (every sip Andrew takes he says...chocolate milkshake. I don't know if he knows he does that) But they have great canned items too like chow chow and salsas and jams, amazing cheeses, ice cream, etc...but best if all, they have the prettiest cows you have ever seen. I'm talking the big black and white kind. Beautiful!! Such a good little day trip. But I do not suggest when you have a hangover. HAH. On this particular day it was a little rough on Keller's mama. Right, Punkin? ;)

Christmas cards in the making

I cant put too many of these up here...but my parents Christmas cards were taken this past weekend. Its not easy getting that many kids to behave long enough for a good photo! The pool was much easier!

The kids are in order in the pool picture!

More Summer Fun

4th of July

The 4th this year was spent in Beaver Creek. What a place for the 4th! The weather was amazing and the firework show was unreal. I've never seen anything that even compares.

Denver Days

This summer we took an extended vacation to Denver to see Merc, MC, Cate, Hugh, and William. It was our annual Argentinean feast and it was probably better than last year...which i honestly didnt know was possible. The trip was amazing! A couple days in Beaver Creek and Denver can soothe any soul!
