Thank you Aunt Hadley and Uncle Sean!

Keller just received one of those little turtles that lights up the ceiling with stars. It is a new favorite. We play with it every morning and every night. After bath time we run straight into his room to play! I snapped these pics but they don't do justice to the cozy atmosphere the stars provide. But they do show off quite a little belly!

Do I have a three year old?

Because in these pictures it really looks like it. I was cooking in the kitchen last night and Keller was a little quieter than I like. (that usually means he is on the couch or playing with something dangerous) So I run into the room and this is what I find...my sweet little man reading a book in his favorite chair. Don't you worry...he was up and running seconds after these pics were taken!

Keller and Mills sitting in a....

Well car. But you get the picture! If these two aren't MFEO than I don't know who is? HHAHA. I just wish arranged marriages were still kosher in America.

It's nice to be Keller

Sometimes Keller isn't so sure he meant to wake up...and likes to take a little Siesta in our bed while we get ready for work. I can't help but take pictures! It's just too funny. It takes all I have not to get back into bed and snuggle with him!

Going to the zoo...

My mom used to sing that song to us A LOT when we were kids. It brings back some major memories...and poor Keller will have them too. Its just such a catchy tune! Going to the zoo, zoo, zoo...How about you, you, you...hahah

We took Keller to the Greenville Zoo recently. The zoo here is great. Its more like a leisurely walk in the park which happens to have monkeys, elephants, lions, giraffes and a few other random animals. Nothing fancy, totally small and easy. Its a great zoo.

I was lucky enough through my work to get a behind the scenes tour of the zoo one day and it made me feel so much better. They truly love these animals...a lot. No harm is done to these beautiful beasts other than keeping them out of their natural habitat. (which i know is no small thing) As you can see, I struggle with the zoo concept, and the circus, and anything else which cages animals. I'm working on it...for Keller.

Anyway, he loved it. I thought he wouldnt really get it (being so young) but he pointed at the elephants, stared at the giraffes and ran around like a crazy monkey. We cant wait to go back!

In the Kitchen

A rainy weekend calls for a lot of time in the kitchen. Keller has his ONE cabinet we let him play in...and he really takes advantage. However, as boys do, Keller took it to the extreme by emptying all the contents and then perching himself on the top shelf and just cracking himself up! I allowed it because we all found it so hysterical...but then we realized the shelf is help up with a plastic notch. No more playing in the cabinet, buddy! But sitting in the colander is just fine.
