My buddy Asher and me!

Dinner at our friends house the other night was one of those dreamy nights. The kids played great...as did the parents. HAHAH. Perfect early meal and then home in time for bed. But Keller and Asher were having so much fun it was hard to separate them! Too cute!

Helping Dad

It's finally Spring!!! Which is wonderful for so many reasons...but mostly so we can get out in the yard and start enjoying the beautiful weather. Andrew has been VERY busy out there and his helper has been too!

Krispy Kreme

At dinner at our friends house the other night I was told about the Krispy Kreme experience. Apparently it is one not to be missed. It was going to change my life. So, the morning after Keller, Andrew and I got in the car. I have to say...Keller fully agreed! Enjoy it now Keller. I dont see too many family trips to get donuts in our future!!

Thank you Punkin!

Keller got the greatest gift for his Birthday! A water and sand table! What an invention. A table (Keller's size) with water on one side, and a sandbox on the other..with lots of fun toys and boats...and an umbrella to protect him from the sun! Perfect!! He loves playing in the sand and splashing around in the water! Keeps our busy boy very busy!

Baby Lewis is Here!!

I am so thrilled to announce that Lewis Tyson Smoak III was born on Monday, April 18th! He was born at 8:21am and weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces. He is perfect in every way and just melts my heart. Makes me think maybe one day I will be able to consider a little brother or sister for Keller. (also helps that he is sleeping)It was so great to welcome the sweet baby BOY to the world with good friends! We are very very lucky!

My sweet sleeping baby!

I shouldn't be writing this. I am asking for it...but Keller has started sleeping like a total champ. Yep, 15 months later and he is finally getting the hang of it. Sometimes I have to go in there to be sure he is still breathing. He cant STILL be sleeping, can he? I just had to snap a shot of this snuggly little one to remind myself that sometimes I still have a baby, and not a full blown toddler.

its the little things..

that really do it for me. In Keller's case...its the crossed feet at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is just so sweet. It always makes me smile!

Backyard Fun

After school we try to spend some good quality time outside either walking or playing in the yard. I think its important to start early! No TV yet in this house for the little man!! I got him a new wheelbarrow so he and his dad could work together. It was a huge hit. Love me some gilt.com

Burshing my teeth

We have been doing a lot of brushing over at our house. Keller insists on doing it himself and is pretty good at it actually. I am proud of the little guy! If only we could get that hair under control. (This was a rough week for us as you can tell by the bruises! Its rough being a boy!)
